As a rather young and recent phenomenon, Living Labs create numerous challenges and issues to be tackled by both scholars and practitioners. It is necessary to add to both the theoretical and practical knowledge on Living Labs in order to advance the learning in this field.
On the 11th of December 2014 Communautique hosted the first meeting dedicated to living labs based in Quebec, Canada. The meeting, held in Montreal, included a first part of formal work followed by a knowledge-sharing session.

The community of Living Labs is rapidly extending, with over 370 Living Labs acredited today after the 8th Wave of New members that annouced on 5 Sep, 2014.
