The Habitat Living Lab is a social network ecosystem for Research & Development, Education and Continuing Education, which has the purpose to develop and apply environmental friendly technologies in collaboration with low-income communities, to improve the conditions of urban housing and rural properties, aiming to contribute to supply the basic human needs of adequate housing, clean water, healthy food, renewable energy and proper treatment and disposal of waste.

The Amazonas LL governance highlights a strong institutional interaction with Research, Enterprise, Policy and citizens communities. Its structure includes:
- The State Board of Science and Technology,
- SECT, the Executive Secretary and three direct entities:
1. FAPEAM, the foundation which supplies the financial resources for RD&I activities in the Amazon State
2. UEA, the State University
3. CETAM, the State Centre of technological learning which provide intermediate level education.
The Digital Citizenship Living Lab, NCD, is an Extended Program of the Federal University of Espírito Santo. It develops and offers computational services to the community, so that it promotes digital inclusion in the state of Espírito Santo. As main activities, there are the direct attendance to the public, several offered courses, the produced technical notes and brochures and the support given to other digital inclusion projects in the state of Espírito Santo.
